The word Reiki comes from the Japanese language. ‘Rei’ means Universal, and ‘Ki’ means Life Energy, so Reiki can be translated as Universal Life Energy.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, which also promotes healing. Life energy is guided through the practitioners’ hands into the recipients’ body, removing energy blockages, balancing & harmonizing all aspects of your being - Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit.
